Şekerbank Enables Its Merchants to Accept American Express Cards

Şekerbank is happy to announce that its merchants across Turkey are now able to accept American Express cards. Şekerbank merchants will thus join the merchant network that local visiting Amex Cardmembers can use.

An agreement has been signed with Garanti BBVA, the representative of American Express in Turkey, and Şekerbank now enables American Express Cardmembers to make transactions via thousands of Şekerbank POS terminals across the country.

 By leveraging its partnerships, global infrastructure and the powerful appeal of the brand, American Express has gained even broader reach for its network worldwide.
